The rooftop bar with fine views was good.
Our room situation was a nightmare. Despite having confirmed a big twin bed, we were given two single beds, made our late-night arrival much more stressful. The room itself was much older than depicted in the pictures, lacking basic comforts like a normal chair to sit on, disappointing.

I found the reception staff were very helpful and friendly. They spoke excellent English. The breakfast buffet was outstanding both in terms of quality and choice. Location was perfect with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Rooms were modern and light and airy. The roof top terrace was great for pre dinner drinks.
The Palace Hotel made the holiday special.
